Wiesław Nowak, President NOVAR-u recently attended the 98th conference of the CICIND organization, which was held on May 17-20, 2023 in Florence, Italy. The nearly 100-person assembly was attended by engineers dealing with steel structures.
In their papers, they discussed, among other things, the extension of the service life of industrial facilities, the maintenance of free-standing steel chimneys, the problems of corrosion in the so-called "wet chimneys" and many other strictly specialized topics from the metal industry. 

CICIND currently has 190 members from 41 countries and conducts active research and development in many areas of civil construction. In May 2018, at the general meeting of the association in Montreal, Canada, it was decided to change the name to the International Committee for Industrial Construction (COMITÉ INTERNATIONAL DES CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRIELLES).

The NOVMAR company has been a member of this prestigious organization for years, and Wiesław Nowak, its honorary member.
