Under the slogan "Cooperation between science and industry", on June 6, 2023, a scientific symposium was held at AGH, organized for the 100th anniversary of the Department of Machine and Transport Engineering of this Krakow university. The symposium opened with a summary of the activities and achievements of the Department, contained in the papers of prof. prof. Krzysztof Kotwica and Tomasz Rokita. The guests representing companies that have been cooperating with the Academy in Krakow for many years, such as e.g. Silesian University of Technology, Wrocław University of Technology, KOMAG Institute from Gliwice, Mine Master from Złotoryja and Polish Rope Railways. A total of 12 lectures were delivered.

In the second part of the meeting, the guests visited the laboratories of the distinguished scientific Jubilarian - the Department of Machine and Transport Engineering.

The NOVMAR delegation took part in the symposium.
