In its 33rd year of operation, NOVMAR is entering a new technological stage of development

Addressing the employees on the day of the annual NOVMAR company celebration, the owner and president, MSc. Eng. Wiesław Nowak, announced the opening of a new stage of the company's development, pointing out the opportunities offered to the company by purchasing and launching a technologically advanced machine park. The newly delivered and installed equipment was installed in a specially renovated and rebuilt hall, in a facility in Balice, at Przemysłowa Street, where NOVMAR's headquarters is located. The modern machines purchased and installed include a pipe bender, a sheet metal bender, a pipe and flat bar sandblaster, a line for welding boiler sheet pile walls, and overhead cranes. All of them form a technological line that will allow NOVMAR to manufacture service elements for industrial boilers, such as sheet pile walls up to 18 m long.

The final preparation stage is still underway, consisting of testing the equipment and selecting employees to operate it. The new line is set to be ready for operation by the end of January this year.

Training for service staff begins in February.

- The president of the company Wiesław Nowak we ask what he or she expects first after the preparations are completed and the new, modern technological line is put into operation.

– The investment of financial resources developed over the years of activity is aimed at raising the Company, which I have managed to successfully run for over 3 decades, to the next level of development, while enabling Novmar employees to expand their professional competences. Process automation will ensure increased production efficiency, while maintaining quality and repeatability, very important parameters that are the hallmark of Novmar.

– The pro-ecological approach to the investments made in the company in recent months is noteworthy. Efficient photovoltaic panels have been purchased and installed, which will support the devices of the technological line being opened. The new line will not increase the company's energy costs. Will these be noticeable savings?

– We receive energy from our day star, the Sun, “almost for free”, one might say. Although “almost” makes a difference. The cost is the investment in photovoltaic panels, and this is not a cheap undertaking. Of course, the expense incurred will pay off over time, but we have to count on it taking several years. However, the photovoltaic installation will not only optimize production costs, but will also be a friendly gesture for the environment, which will not feel an increased threat despite the expansion of the scope of my company Novmar's operations and will not contribute to the deterioration of the environment. This responsibility is of particular importance to me, because we must consider what the next generations will receive after us.

 – NOVMAR will now be able to offer external companies services that the new production line will allow. Who could be among the potential contractors interested in cooperation and placing potential orders?

– Our new products are mainly dedicated to the energy and paper industries. However, the new machinery park allows us to carry out orders for other contractors, depending on their needs. I am thinking here primarily about bending pipes in 2 planes and in some cases even in 3 planes, and making bent elements from steel sheets. We invite potential interested business partners to contact the company's orders department. Our specialists, engineers and sales representatives will be happy to provide information on the technical and time possibilities for the execution of possible orders.
